This has been in my spirit for some time now. I want to create a space that honored and praised the blk woman for all that she is and does. I want to carve out time to bring a few spirits together to conjur a new reality for what it means to be a blk woman in America in 2016. I want to make room to speak into existence realities we have never yet seen, but only dreamed.
If our Native brothers and sisters could have faith enough to sit and pray for rain and it appear, then we can gather on the BlkArtsLine and mediate/pray/call out for all of us to respect who the blk woman is and how she has helped to craft the very world we exist in today.
This is not resricted to any religious group.
All of us are welcome to come.
